Environmental
Our commitment to reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices
WBM are a specialised recovery facility for printer consumables
At our UK facility, used printer consumables are identified, checked, sorted and processed for reuse or raw-material recovery.
As such, WBM is not a general waste or recycling operation and is therefore not required to hold waste license permits. Instead, the Environment Agency grant Waste Exemptions to companies operating under certain strict conditions, limits and criteria.
There is a specific T16 exemption for printer consumables and T11 for WEEE – you can download copies of our exemption registrations below:
